Difference Between Trash and Recycling

Recycling is for big plastic, paper, cardboard, aluminum, and glass items that are clean. All the rest is trash and food trash is compost.

Recycling  is NOT for used napkins and tiny straw wrappers (even though they are paper). 

It is NOT for greasy pizza boxes (even though they are cardboard). 

It is NOT for grocery bags (even though they are plastic).

It is NOT for broken dishes or mirrors (even though they are glass).

Just contemplating if dishes really are glass. Is ceramic glass?
