Rainbow Order

The colors of the rainbow are always in the same order. This is because of light going through waterdrops at different wavelengths.

You can remember which colors are in what order by making one guy your best friend. He is Roy G. Biv. His name stands for the colors of the rainbow in order starting from the top.

R - red

O - orange

Y - yellow

G - green

B - blue

I - indigo

V - violet
