Not so much here in Texas, but in most parts of the world, people get to experience four separate seasons. We "officially" have them but spring and fall are pretty short and winter isn't very cold. Here are the seasons for the top half of the world (above the equator).
The first season is spring. It is from March to May. It is when plants come back to life, leaves come out on trees and baby animals are born. Spring makes most of us sneeze a lot because of the pollen in the air that floats around and makes new plants.
June to August is summer. It is the warmest season and we get to go swimming and boating and camping and stargazing. The ice cream truck travels around the neighborhoods. Berries that started to grow in the spring are ready to be picked. Strawberries are ripe in May/June, raspberries are ripe in June/July and blueberries are ripe in July/August. There is no school in the summer so teachers and kids can sleep in.
Fall or Autumn is from September to November and it is my favorite season. It's chilly but not cold and apples are in season. My favorite apple is Cortland. I'm not crazy about Halloween lasting as long it does now (the whole month of October!) but it is fun for a day. Thanksgiving is my favorite because we all get to be together and eat yummy food but we don't have to worry about Christmas presents.
December to February is winter. That's when Christmas is and snow falls and they both are magical. In the north where there is a lot of snow, the people get sick of shoveling it and they get tired of not having very much sun. It is gray in Texas too but we do have many sunny days and it hardly ever gets below 35 degrees.

| I love my lamby jammies. Lulu said lambs are born in the spring and that it's called "lambing season". |
